This journey ignited a passion to create innovative sleep solutions that truly make a difference.
Origins
As a light sleeper, my nights were always hit or miss. Sometimes I’d sleep well, other times not so well. This drove me crazy… I couldn’t handle not being able to sleep. My night time is sacred to me, and I hate for it to be ruined by anything, but that’s what was happening for me…
I tried everything from investing in roller shutters, to expensive white noise machines and fancy eye masks. None of it seemed to do the trick. I was either restless or kept waking up throughout the night.
This was until one very fateful day… As I was aimlessly searching the web, looking for a remedy to sleep better that didn’t involve sleeping pills or medication, I miraculously came across the concept of mouth taping, a new trend that had just surfaced on the internet. At first, I was extremely sceptical, but I thought why not give this a try?
After convincing myself to try taping my mouth shut at night, I found it to be uncomfortable throughout the night, however I did uncover one thing: it actually prevents snoring! This was exciting for me because I saw this as a chance to actually work. I had read articles and seen videos of people testifying that mouth taping can actually help improve sleep quality. I was determined to make this work…
After researching the market, I discovered mouth tape that was far more comfortable than what I had originally tried. The fabric was much more friendly on my skin. It stuck all throughout the night, but wasn’t a pain to remove. This is it!
I became an advocate for mouth taping at night. But what actually inspired me to sell my own mouth tape for people just like you was when I convinced my mother, a light sleeper just like me, to wear mouth tape when sleeping. She attempted it… After a few days I asked her how she was sleeping. She had told me she stopped wearing mouth tape after the first night. With defeat, I asked her why. She had told me she didn’t like having her mouth taped shut at night and how anxious it made her feel. This conversation lingered in my mind for days.
With this on my mind, I found the final solution for the greatest mouth tape. A mouth tape that is made for all people. One that would be suitable, whether they had facial hair, no facial hair, sensitive skin or even anxiety when taping their mouth shut. This mouth tape would be stretchy, friendly on skin, lips and facial hair, easy to remove, but be as durable as it needs to be and be as breathable as possible whilst still being effective. This mouth tape even includes a little air vent in the middle so people that have worries about taping their mouth shut can have even more peace of mind. A mouth tape for everyone.
This mouth tape was then tested out by myself, my family, and close friends. The results were better than I could have imagined. Not only did it help me sleep, it prevented my snoring friends from snoring at night while also drastically improving their sleep quality!
